I joined this site in the belief that I would be able to make contact with like minded people in my local area, or at least within a reasonable commute. Travelling, after all, is expensive and time consuming and over a period of time would put stress on a long term relationship developing. I need not have worried on that account, there were very few possibilities of any such meeting taking place let alone relationship developing! Many of the 'thousands' of Profiles that they claim to have, haven't been active for three months or longer. In lots of cases the details were years old and obviously not relevant. I decided after two months that this site was not for me and used the option to turn off the Auto Renewal function in order to stop any further deduction on my credit card. I did not shut down my Profile and close my account completely because I still had nearly a month to go and you have to be optimistic. I found when my card statement came through that a further 3 months subscription had been taken on my account on the 7th of the month despite the fact that renewal was not due until 22nd. And what do you know! When I checked my SFF Account I found the Auto Renewal was set to 'On' again, even though I had checked it a week after I turned it Off to make sure it was 'Off'!!! Wonder who did that? Some Fu***** Fairy!! Needless to say I shut down my account immediatly and got confirmation that no further payments would be taken but they have had my money and I have Sweet Fanny Flynn!!
I would not go near this site again and I suggest you don't either.
In summary, I would not recommend Senior Friend Finder to a friend.
