Joining FiftyAlready is easy,
requiring
users to create a username and password, provide
some basic information about themselves (gender, 'looking for', date of
birth, age, height, ethnicity, religion, occupation, children/desire
for children) and of course,
submit a valid email address.

quick introduction to yourself (your hobbies, interests and what you're
looking for), and also a title for your profile.

Searching using FiftyAlready.com is straightforward, by simply
clicking the "search" button from the main page you can access the
search options available on FiftyAlready:
- Postcode Search -
search by distance to your postcode or another postcode, and filter
results by sex, age and length of membership.
- City Search - See a
full list of members by their nearest city, sorted alphabetically.
- Regional Search -
search by region, and filter results by town, sex, age and length of
membership.

search by a specific username
- Feeling Lucky? -
randomly select a member and presents their profile!
As the only site we reviewed that was dedicated
solely to a UK and Irish user base, FiftyAlready will have a particular
popularity with UK users. It has a range of features common to dating
sites, such as instant messaging, message boards, chat, photo profiles
and also some less common features, such as "favorite things" and profile
shortcuts. The site, while functional, certainly lacks the
attractiveness that is present in other senior dating sites, and it also lacks many of the advanced features present in our top 5 senior dating sites.
Profiles are relatively simple to create, with the site asking
the range of standard questions. Searching however, leaves a lot to be
desired, with the search criteria being limited to only geographical
factors or a specific username search. This is probably the case
because of the limited UK/Ireland user base, and also, because the site
likely has far fewer active members than other senior dating sites we reviewed. Even so,
this limited search functionality would not be so problematic for a user living in the UK/Ireland as
the chances of finding a suitable match are presumably higher. Still,
it would be nice to be able to search by interests, keywords, body type
etc, as this information is available on user profiles.
Fifty Already offers a range of communication methods, though its
search capacity and its less than sleek look makes this site less
attractive than other similar sites. Also, while the limited UK/Ireland-only geographical scope of this site may be advantageous to some prospective
members, it likely provides less value for money, even for these users,
than other sites, and it is for these reasons that this site scores less
highly than other sites in our list of reviews.
