DatingForSeniors is part of a wider group of dating sites catering for a wide spectrum of different dating interests. The site is attractive and comes complete with a standard complement of features including instant messaging, chatrooms, forums and photo profiles. The ability to send and upload video messages adds a personal touch to a profile on Dating For Seniors, giving users the opportunity to put something of their true personality into their online profile. "Flirts", while not an uncommon feature, do give users the opportunity to gauge a user's interest before sending a full message - which is a popular feature.

Profiles on DatingForSeniors.com take a relatively long time to set up. The profiles come split into eight different categories:

1. Basic Information,
2. Appearance,
3. Situation,
4. Status,
5. Taste,
6. Personality,
7. Views and
8. "Looking For".

In order to have the greatest chance of finding your perfect match you are advised by DatingForSeniors to complete them all. Whilst this advice is probably true, fully and thoughtfully completing a profile would likely take around an hour or so, much longer than the profiles on other sites. Things aren't all bad however, as the bigger and more informative your profile is, the greater chance you have of making a meaningful connection with someone - so have patience!

Searches on DatingForSeniors are among the most comprehensive we have come across. On first sight, "quick search" seems a little lackluster, but open up "advanced features" and more than twenty search fields with a range of options become available! The excellent thing about searching listings with DatingForSeniors is that you can choose the number of these fields you use - a search really can be as comprehensive as you like, or indeed, as simple. The site also "suggests" individuals that you may be interested in (that match your desires or are geographically close to you), which could throw up some profiles of interest!

DatingForSeniors has a number of excellent search options and a community of active users (although it was difficult to ascertain just how big this community is). The biggest downfall of DatingForSeniors is that at $24.95 a month it is more than twice as expensive as sites which rate higher in our review, including our No. 1 Choice, SeniorFriendFinder. It's still a worthy addition to our top 10 list of senior dating sites, particularly because of the layout and searchability of the site.
